Q: Can I view the paintings in person?
A: Yes! Visitors are welcome at my Studio: Art By Yen, 216 Joo Chiat Road, #02-21 Soho Life, Singapore 427483.
Hours Mon-Sat 2-6pm. Please check Google Maps or my Facebook Page for the latest updates before heading down.
Q: How do I find the studio inside Soho Life row of shophouses?
A: Use the lift lobby located at the back of the building beside the mailboxes. At the intercom (upper box, not lower one), dial 0221 (no need #) for access.
Q: Can I visit outside of standard opening hours?
A: Certainly. Please Email Me or use the Contact Form below to schedule a private viewing.
Q: Will a specific piece be available to view?
A: Some works are stored off-site. If you have a specific painting in mind, please let me know via email so I can ensure it is at the gallery for your visit.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: At the Studio: Cash or PayNow (upto 10% discount applicable on most canvas paintings).
Online: PayPal or Credit Card via PayPal (Select "Local Pickup" if collecting from Studio).
Q: Do you accept commissions eg. for specific shophouse addresses?
A: Yes! I specialize in architecture and do canvas commissions on all subjects in acrylic or oil. Please provide a photo and description of the subject for a quote. See examples on my Sold Pieces page.
Q: Is it better to buy through this site or a global marketplace?
A: Buying directly through this site (or at the studio) is the most cost-effective option. It avoids high platform commissions and "hidden" shipping/forex buffers, allowing me to offer you the best price. While global platforms may offer sales tax handling for international buyers or handle courier arrangements, my site uses PayPal to ensure your purchase is protected and there is 50% savings on international shipping cost for buying 2 or more.
