What started as an impressionist impasto oil landscape painting of Singapore with whimsical kite-flying on a green meadow and the Marina Bay city as backdrop, took a different turn when I flipped the canvas and let the light drifting winds take over, eventually becoming a textured abstract artwork of pastel pink yellow patterns, reminiscent of a window with cloth drapes that feel just right for the mood of the piece. 2017.
